In collaboration with Laerdal Medical, our project aimed to revolutionize auscultation training by making it more accessible and adaptable. Extensive research was conducted to understand the current challenges faced by students and educators in traditional auscultation training methods. We delved into the limitations of physical models and explored the potential benefits of incorporating modern technologies such as virtual reality.

Rough concept wireframing
With a clear direction established, we embarked on the development of the AVA (Augmented Virtual Auscultation) platform. This involved integrating augmented reality technology with auscultation training modules to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Our focus was on designing an intuitive interface that would empower students to engage in independent learning while reducing costs for educational institutions.
